I made an online order for a sub and it came out wrong and with bad ingredients. I ordered Boar's Head roast beef and they put the regular store brand roast beef. The Boar's Head costs more, so it would be nice to actually get what I paid for. The only reason I get it is because it actually tasted good, so when I pay more for it and get a sandwich that I don't even enjoy, it's frustrating. Also, I got cucumbers on the sub that were mushy and smelled terrible. I don't think it's too much to ask to get ingredients that aren't expired. I called the Deli to just let them know they probably shouldn't use those same cucumbers and the woman I spoke to hurried me off the phone. Normally I love Publix, but after today I probably won't go to this location again.
I really like Publix, place has a great Summerville vibe and very friendly. Harris teeter has brought the beer competition and hot bar but Publix has devout followers.
I love Publix! I drive out of my way, past other stores to go to Publix. Their service is unparalleled. Many choices, helpful people, clean store, fresh food! Really the best chain around! I would love it if they put one closer to me.
