This will not be my first choice to eat out at again. While our Firecracker appetizer was good my burger and fries were way under my expectations. The burger was overcooked and the fries were undercooked. For the price they really should have better quality
Came here for restaurant week and we were not disappointed! The tuna appetizer was awesome, the salmon entree and bison enchiladas were very good and the dessert! The apple pie empanadas were so good!!!! The server was great and the decor was fantastic. What more can you ask for?
There were tons of flies buzzing around inside, but the place seemed crowded, though, so plenty of people must like the place. Overall, I'd say try it for yourself and see what you think.

Really high quality. I regret not having come here before. The place is beautifully decorated, from the exterior to the bathroom. I got a BBQ cheese burger and my wife got shrimp tacos. My burger was perfectly cook and very flavorful. She loved her taco and said it's the freshest shrimp she has had in a long time. The fries are delicious, as were her beans and rice. The mixed drinks are good as well. The service was great and very speedy.
Reasonably cheap, not crowded, would highly recommend.
The whole experience of SOL seems rather superficial. Menus are stapled to these huge chunks of wood, dishes are served on 12"x3" plates, and the dishes themselves are presented with a lot of decorative sauce and sour cream flourishes.
The food itself is decent at best, but not any better than your local Mexican place. It's not bad, and I'd need another visit to really get a proper feel for the menu, but from my experience, it seems like more focus is put on the presentation of the dishes than the quality.
