I know everyone has an off day now and then, but this seemed a bit too much.
I love Cracker Barrel what more can you say. The food is always yummy the service is always great. I like that they have a store where you can buy most anything while you're waiting to get in to eat or check out
The yellows were dry. The bacon was not crispy. She brought no butter or jelly, until I asked for it. Usually there is a bowl on the table with an assortment of jellies. She didn't even ask what flavor I would like
A friend and I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch today. I usually enjoy my visits, but today it seemed like nothing went right. First my friend and I had silverware that had dried food stuck to spoons and forks. When I showed them to our server she said it looked like we had old utensils. I'm sorry but one of the spoons had something that looked like mashed potatoes dried on it. I could have scraped it off with a fingernail. She never should have made an excuse. Second, I ordered 2 eggs over medium and crispy bacon. I specifically said, please make sure whites are done and yellow is still runny
Good blueberry pancakes and love the warm maple syrup. The thick cut bacon was crispy and delicious. As always, browsing the store after breakfast was delightful. My husband's eggs were perfectly done to his taste. Or server was humorous and efficient, adding to our experience.
Love these restaurants. Not so much for the food, but for the store that sells such a variety of things. The food is tasty and plentiful, but it is never hot (temperature) enough for me. It is always a nice to stop there during our travels. The staff is always friendly and helpful in the store, so I will give it 5 stars.
Always get a good meal here. I was greeted and seated promptly. My server was very attentive and professional. Be prepared as this place can get busy quick. Parking can be difficult.
She just brought a strawberry and a blackberry. It's a good thing I like blackberry. I don't do strawberry at all. She never asked of I wanted my coffee warmed up or a refill. It took quite a while to get our bill also. The kitchen seemed to be moving in slow motion too. Even the young man at the hostess desk acted like he didn't want to be there.
