Went in for a couples massage. Arrived 15 min early, as asked to do. We were not taken back until 5:10. By the time our massage started, it was at least 5:15/5:20 and it ended at 5:50. This allowed only 30-35 min for our massage. We had purchased the add on hot towel foot treatment for $15 each. I would not recommend spending extra for this! It lasted only 5 min, but 5 min of precious time that should have been spent on the massage. On our way out, the only mirror I saw was in the hall next to the exit door but I was also ushered quickly past it. I could have used some time in the restroom as we were heading to dinner afterward. They clearly used our time slot to get themselves back on schedule. Before we were checked out, the next person had been taken back on time. Very disappointed with our introductory visit and will return to their competitor.
I had never had a massage before.. This was a great first time experience! Will definitely refer friends to come experience this for themselves! Very relaxing.
Massage was fine. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad one anywhere. With that being said , I was told if I wanted to rebook the reg. Price would be $99.00 for the same massage. I understand I got a first time intro rate but it was just a normal massage . Nothing above and beyond to justify a $100 price point. I would of rebooked cause it was convenient but not for $100
This was my second time coming here and I was blown away at how amazing my therapist, Wesley, was. This is the first time I’ve left feeling so much better instead of sore. He is fantastic at what he does and I will certainly be back soon!!
I don't normally slam a service. But I just booked an hour massage. The masseuse did the same maneuvers over 46 times on each side of my back. Had a few knots, just moved them around a few times. Very little on arms or legs but apply lotion. When she flipped me. She did 2 minutes on each leg, and a minute on each arm. I have calluses on my hands. One might think she'd pick up on that and do more hand, wrist or forearm work. I have muscles I use other than in my back, don't neglect. She finishes. My apt was at 11, she starts a few minutes after. At 11:50 she's done. I go to pay, front desk girl asked me how it was. I said , "why if I booked an hour massage am I standing in your foyer dressed at 11:50?" She said, "oh well it's not an hour hands on, that includes the time around it". I showed her the brochure on the counter, "well then why does this say One Hour Massage?" She did discount and I still tipped 20%. The room might as well have been a doctor's office room, just a bed, and something on the counter. No candles, no soothing smells, no visual feeling of relaxation. I'd rather go to my local Spa, old building in Summerville but the scented oils, and the foot washing ahead of time is just their little extras, not a nickel and dime addition. I won't stray to the pop up fancy places again. I'll either stick with the local spa or an independent person that's recommended (that hopefully knows a little about sciatic and techniques to use on a girl that wears flip flops on a concrete floor of a garage and strains her arms building stuff alone.) I have so much lotion on me, just slid off my leather seats to the floor board at the first stop light.
