A wonderful place to stay. A clean and comfortable room. A wonderful breakfast with hot eggs, sausage, waffles, breads, cereals, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Great hospitality. A nice outdoor pool. If you have any accessibility issues, ask to stay on the first floor. We couldn’t find an elevator.
Overall visit was smooth. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast wasn't bad either! Had a basic selection of hot and cold items. The elevator was a little questionable though and if you're looking for a good exercise room you won't find it here. I've seen home gyms with more machines. Also the vending machines are cash only, which while weird in 2017, it's no big deal. Except for the fact that they have no ATM to get cash for said machines and there's no store within walking distance to buy snacks or drinks from. I happened to find a $10 bill in my purse and when I asked the front for change she legitimately handed me a roll of quarters and said that is all they had. Was not too happy to have $8.50 in quarters in my purse after I purchased my drink. Another great thing was the shower. The water pressure was nice. However, the provided toiletries didn't cleanse very well. The remote actually matched the tv which you never see that in hotels! Beds weren't too comfortable but they weren't awful either. Room temp control was nice.
My husband and I stayed here back on Dec 2nd 2017 to what we thought was a somewhat of a nice place, however there was a funny smell and I couldn't quite figure out what the smell was as I kept going in and out of the bathroom the smell got more annoying. As I was taking a bath in the tub I happened to glance at the toilet and I was horrified by the mole that was obviously built up to the point that it was so sick that you literally could have scraped it off of with a spoon and put it in a bowl it was the most disgusting thing and then as I looked at the toilet I see all the black mole coming from under the toilet bowl this is not one of the most desirable things you'd want to see as you're taking a bath when I requested for management of the hotel to come to my room I was advised that Management's was out on the property and could not be reached and at no point in time did Management try to contact me at all. This was very disappointing and sad because for the amount of money that you paid for those rooms and they are not being properly cleaned at all with that amount of mole inside and outside of that toilet bowl that meant that toilet bowl had not been cleaned for months for it to build up as bad as it did. I had to put down a star but in my opinion they get no stars at all this is a place of business someone could have gotten extremely sick and management didn't even have the common courtesy to call back a contact and asked if we were okay after they were aware that we were trying to contact them so this is certainly not the type of business that I will be sharing my hard-earned money with anymore the public needs to be able to see this and know that when you go somewhere and you stay there that the place of business is there for customer service and not for the cash. Country Inn Suites is obviously not one of them. I have posted several pictures of the horror that I had the pleasure of looking at for over $200.00. Thanks so much Country Inn Suites.
This place is far superior to every other alleged 3-4 star within a few miles. I have stayed at others nearby and for this one has the most bang for the buck by far. It's online reviews do not do it justice. Everything is clean, stocked, working and the internet is fast. I have no complaints and will stay here again the next time I visit friends in Summerville. I may even extend my stay this time to make up for lost time messing around staying at two other, "bad" places.
Superb Customer service. Great staff and amenities. The jacuzzi rooms re great and very relaxing. The best breakfast buffets around. And Anthony at the front desk I very professional and positive attitude.
