First, I only go on weekends when there are no appointments. That factors into this review because my experience has been both great and horrible. It seems there is a good bit of churn in the workforce so you never really know what you are going to get.

I was there when customer Donnita Parks was, and I read her review. VERY ACCURATE information! I have been using Great Clips for several years, and I have used many different locations, always had mostly positive experiences... but his location has been "sliding down" the ratings scale for a while...THIS particular day was very very upsetting. I came in the week before and tried to just walk in because the app would not allow check in. Upon arrival, I was informed that if the wait time was greater than 55 minutes the app would not accept check ins. SO I left, and returned...the next week. I checked in online with a wait time of 55 mins... then I arrived, (on time) and there was one person ahead of me. (maybe a "Mathew") I realize that wait times are estimated, and I am ok with that... I was greeted and checked in after about a 5 min wait... (I should have been verbally acknowledge at least within a minute IMO)... your hands may be busy, but your mouth works!) there were two hairstylists with clients, and one stopped to go help the other... it was a little back and forth, and then the one just took over... and left HER client sitting undone! I waited for over another 20 mins while the one female client was left sitting in her chair (I am assuming it was Donnita P) There was never any apology or acknowledgement to ANY of us that were left waiting and watching two stylists cut one head of hair . GOOD customer service should have dictated that someone say something to the rest of us.. like: "we re so sorry, we will be with you all just as soon as possible... thank you for your patience!" I'm thinking that the one that was getting the two stylists attention was probably pretty happy that whatever had gone wrong was being corrected, but I decided that 1> wait time AND app was useless, and 2> I didn't WANT TO BE THE NEXT guinea pig! The lady that normally cuts my hair (and I think she is also the "mgr" wasn't there? So I LEFT and I HAVEN"T BEEN back!! A loyal customer for over 6 years!! I live on a budget, and the hair cuts pricing is so reasonable it affords me to be able to leave a generous tip each time and I have always appreciated that. Sad shame..... I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY HAIR CUT.. I miss this place... and the "way it was" need a haircut today... I am three or four weeks past due... desperate for a cut... but....

Had the worst experience!!! I think the girl that cut my hair started the day before. I stated specifically that I didn't want want short hair, that I wanted nothing shorter than my shoulders. I walked away with my hair cut to my chin. She also attempted to cut layers in the back, but cut a big chunk out of one side of my head, like a toddler with scissors for the first time. I left terribly distraught! So now. I have to go to another salon and spend more money to get MORE hair cut to fix the damage. I don't even want to give it one star!

I wear my hat to cover it....WILL not use them again.

Went in for a hair cut.we waited a while,no problem...When the lady starting cutting my hair,another stylist asked for help with another clint..She left me sitting there and went over and started cutting the other persons hair with the same scissors she was using on me.. Them she came back and continued on my hair cut,with the same scissors,but she did spray something on them.....Any way my hair is so Gaped up

My advice is to make sure you create your profile with them so that they have notes on how you like your hair cut. Also, get the app so that you can check-in remotely and have a relatively accurate-ish wait time.

I went to Great Clips on Old Trolley Road today. I did not call ahead or make an appointment on-line. They were pretty busy; it was 12:27 when I arrived, and the woman at the desk said it would be an hour. This was not a problem for me because I had a few things to buy at Publix right next door. I went back to Great clips and read for 10 minutes and was called at exactly 1:27! How often does that happen? I got a conscientious young stylist who gave me the exact haircut I wanted. I would recommend this store. If you need to be out at a certain time, make an appointment. If you have a wait, there are stores within easy walking distance; I enjoyed having a few minutes to read.
