I don't know what's wrong with the one user who gave Soundwave a bad review. Sounds more personal than anything else. I stopped by Soundwave on a whim and now I am a regular every week. I was met with some of the best customer service I have ever received, and that's something that is of great value to me since I am in the customer service industry myself. Start dropping by Soundwave and Greg and Holly will make it a point to start getting to know you by name and provide you a quality experience. They are always hosting events, auctions, deals, and giveaways. They also have a drawing club and book club. Soundwave represents to me everything a local business should be: in sync with and utterly passionate about the community. If you're into comics, or movies, or games, or whatever, take a trip over to Soundwave and you'll be glad you did.
Poor/Fair seems too generous for this place. I walked in... And I literally walked out in less than 5 minutes because the place was so crappy. No kind of organization, no kind of staff support, and overall it seemes like no one even knew what they were doing.

Huge selection of comics! Has all the new releases and tons of back issues. Also a very large selection of TPBs and figures. Very friendly staff and well organized. Was hard to find the first time I went as they have no sign above there entrance.
It's nice to finally have a decent comic book store in the Summerville area. There's not a lot of back issues yet, but if you're looking for new stuff this is the place to go. A lot more convenient then driving to Charleston just to pick up the latest issue of X-Men or whatever. They can order pretty much any comic you want and you get 10% off the cover price.
