Friendly staff and very good food. I had the meatball sandwich, Marty has the Patty melt, and Heath had the gumbo and a fancy hot dog. We were all happy.
Staff is very friendly. My husband and I were very disappointed in the food, however. My husband had the Cubano #1 and I had the Almighty Brisket. With the pricing of the sandwiches and this being a deli, I had high expectations. Both sandwiches were bland in taste, as if there was no salt or seasoning used. It is my third time visiting and I have not been blown away by flavorful food. I wanted to give it another chance, as there is so much to choose from on the menu. But maybe that's the problem. There is too much on the menu to be able to focus on the taste of the food.
If you're looking for a place where the locals eat, look no further. EVERYTHING I have ever ordered here has been amazing! I find myself suggesting that friends meet me here all the time!
The food here is amazing. Pancakes as big as dinner plates, cakes as heavy as toddlers, and the cures to any dessert cravings can be found here. Ordering food for dining in cam be overwhelming because the menu is so huge and you have to stand in line and wait to order. On busy mornings, this can be a bit chaotic. The space is smallish, so be prepared to deal with many people packed together if it's a Saturday or Sunday morning.
The best desserts anywhere! I always order our birthday cakes from them and they are the best! The cake prices are around $35-$50 per cake but well worth it in my opinion. You want be disappointed. Breakfast is delicious! And the French press coffee is great! They have a big selection of pastries, muffins, cookies, cakes, pies and more.
